Infographic: The uprising in Sana’a

This is a map of Sana’a I’ve been working on for a while and I’ll be updating it daily. The shaded areas include protest camps and territory that has been seized by the rebel 1st Armored Brigade under the command of Ali Muhsin. Other points detail rebel and loyalist checkpoints, tanks, and light armored vehicle positions.

  1. Am heading for Yemen next month to teach in Sana’a. Am Australian. How is the atmosphere toward us foreigners?

  2. This is really cool Jeb. It would be interesting too to see where the gov’t supporters are camped and major road blocks/check points. I mean I know where they are but strategically it would be cool. Especially if it breaks into serious civil conflict. I’m sure some news agency would love to have this. 🙂 Good work!
